Out For A Stroll

Sydnee and I went for a stroll today due to the ever changing beautiful weather. She loved it so much and ended up falling fast asleep all bundled up. I can tell this is going to be our favorite pass time in the summer time! Can't wait! It is hard to believe that Sydnee will be 3 1/2 months tomorrow as time most of the days seem to just breeze by. We have our bad days, but those are limited to very little. It is hard to have a bad day when I have a perfect, healthy, gorgeous little baby that looks exactly like Luke. She keeps me sane and is the reason why I wake up in the morning (literally...lol). We miss Luke more and more everyday and it gets harder each day, but as each day passes, we are one day closer to seeing him again! Can't wait...it replays in my head.

New Faces

Sydnee got to meet her cousin Lincoln for the first time and Jenna. It was a great visit and Lincoln is so adorable and will make a great big brother some day!

Experienced Another First...Many More To Come!

Last night I had a mommy first experience. I was giving Sydnee a tubby, her favorite time of the entire day. No matter how crabby she is, I get her naked and she already knows where she is going...she starts giggling and smiling...ITS TUBBY TIME! :) Yesterday I threw her in the tub and she was tooting up a storm. I figure well, she already pooped today so no worries. As the toots got stronger and more frequent, lol, I decided to hurry up because this could be disasterous...before I could stand up to get her out, I suddenly realized there was a snake in the tub! ;) Sydnee had pooped in the tub and there is was...floating proudly in the tub! LOL. I couldn't help but laugh and I knew my lil peanut felt better, so no need to get mad. This was just one of the firsts that I will experience in mommyhood and I am sure it isn't the last time I will be fishing poop out of the tub! :)

3 Months

Hard to believe she is alredy 3 months! She is wanting to roll over so bad but can't quite make it, but I am guessing it won't be much longer! I have to second guess myself when plopping her down somewhere...the floor is the safe bet. I am ready for spring/summer to come! It will be a great age for Sydnee and not to mention daddy will be home. We have 2 months down already and 3-4 more to go. It seems so far away, but I know it will be here before we know it...hopefully! Until then, I am going to enjoy having her to myself. :)

Where Did The Time Go?

As I look at my daughter this morning, not only does she look more and more like her daddy, she is getting too big, too fast! She is already 2 months and 3 weeks! Where did the time go? It seems like yesterday she was the length of my arm and now she is hanging out of my arms! :( She is learning and growing so much, it is amazing to see these changes and I am just embracing every moment I get. Sydnee is starting to watch T.V. now, loving to watch cartoons such as Handy Manny...she sits and giggles and it is hilarious. I need to consider to get her some Baby Einstein videos for her because I think she would love it!
We should be getting a "Skype" call from Luke soon and I look forward to those calls! We miss seeing his face and hearing his voice...it helps us get through the days...but it makes me grateful for every time I get to talk to him. It is hard to believe it has been 2 months since we have seen him, but it seems like forever! I just want the rest of the time to go by just as fast...maybe if this weather would shape up it would! Luke seems to being the hot, tropical, weather he is in! Jealous!

Cousins

Sydnee just loves her cousins, Langston and Karlee. Here is a gorgeous shot of all of the together! Couldn't get any better than this!



She is doing great after her shots and wasn't really fussy at all. She slept the rest of the day and night away and pretty much the next day too. I was so proud of her for being a trooper. However, now we are fighting the cold and she is really stuffed up. Can't wait for the spring/summer to come!

First Round Of Shots!

We had our first round of shots today and it was not good! My poor little peanut! She was doing so good throughout her long appointment, waiting patiently and giggling, talking, smiling and wiggling around until the nurse came in to give her 3, yes 3 shots. Poor hunny. Her eyes got supper big and just let out a cry I have never heard come from her body before! I almost wanted to let one out too, but I got to hold her right away and she calmed right down! She was such a trooper and the best for getting so many shots.
Turns out we have a little chubby on our hands and she now weights 12.1 pounds and 22.8 inches...she grew like a weed! The doctor said she looks great and right on track with everything! Now we just need to get through the night...this is going to be a long one. Hopefully she will calm down and get some rest...poor baby!
