Sydnee had her photo session today and lets just say...it didn't go as well as planned. She was quite the lil drama queen and was terrified of everything. We have been going through this stage lately where she is scared of everything and everyone that she does not know. *Sigh* So we got through a few different set ups and she was done...poor baby. I will be patiently waiting for them! :)
Besides being drama, Sydnee has been all over the place lately! Lets just say I can no longer leave her unattended. I have her on the floor she is trying sooo hard to roll over. She gets on her side, but can't quite get over...any day I am sure and it seems over night she decided to try. She is just a lil wiggle worm, it is crazy we are at this stage where she is going to be on the move before I know it! :) Then the work begins huh? LOL.
Sydnee's first easter is coming up and it should be a fun, busy, busy day for us! Happy Easter for everyone! :)
As a family of the military, we live for each moment of time that we have with one another because we never know when that time will be taken away from us, which seems to be more often than not. Our lives are constantly changing and although it seems we spend more time apart then together, we wouldn't change anything about it.

A Proud Mommy (and Daddy!) & Half Way There!
Here is our lil girl doing what she does best...looking cute (well besides eating, can you tell?). :) Hard to believe she is almost 4 months old. We have a photo shoot next Wednesday and can't wait to see how those turn out. I will post them when I get them. She is trying to roll over so bad. She is half way there, but just can't seem to get her legs over. It won't be long! She is getting to be so fun, talking and being more playful. Love it! :)
Luke is now back on dry land and we are happy that the hard days of being on the ship and not being able to talk are behind us now. We are half way through this deployment and I can't wait for this to be done with! Everyday that goes by, is one day closer to seein him. We just play the waiting game right now and hope that the date is earlier than what we are expecting, but I won't hold my breath! It can change so many times and I know that all so well through the last deployment and the many debts he has been on in the past. So we will just wait and see where this takes us, but one thing is certain, it is getting harder and harder to be away from him. :(

Busy, Busy Bee
Sydnee and I have been on the run and it feels nice to not be cooped up in the house anymore. We have put a lot of miles on the stroller! :) We have been going for a walk almost everyday...the weather is gorgeous and I have a feeling it will only get better! Not to mention it helps me to get back into shape! Win win!
This weekend was a busy one...Happy Birthday to Brendan. Hard to believe that he is one already! Before we know it Sydnee will be too as time is going by way too fast. That is a plus for us right now because the faster Luke will be home, but I am enjoying spoiling her and having her to myself...but daddy needs to come home! I am so ready! :) We only have 3 more months to go, hopefully less...but we won't know till last minute. Luke is doing ok, he is finally getting off the ship today and we can't wait to talk to daddy!
Sydnee has a scheduled photo session next week and I can't wait to get her pics taken...they will turn out adorable, I have a hint! :)

Out For A Stroll
Sydnee and I went for a stroll today due to the ever changing beautiful weather. She loved it so much and ended up falling fast asleep all bundled up. I can tell this is going to be our favorite pass time in the summer time! Can't wait! It is hard to believe that Sydnee will be 3 1/2 months tomorrow as time most of the days seem to just breeze by. We have our bad days, but those are limited to very little. It is hard to have a bad day when I have a perfect, healthy, gorgeous little baby that looks exactly like Luke. She keeps me sane and is the reason why I wake up in the morning (literally...lol). We miss Luke more and more everyday and it gets harder each day, but as each day passes, we are one day closer to seeing him again! Can't wait...it replays in my head.
Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather. Saw a robin today...spring is on its way! :)

Experienced Another First...Many More To Come!
Last night I had a mommy first experience. I was giving Sydnee a tubby, her favorite time of the entire day. No matter how crabby she is, I get her naked and she already knows where she is going...she starts giggling and smiling...ITS TUBBY TIME! :) Yesterday I threw her in the tub and she was tooting up a storm. I figure well, she already pooped today so no worries. As the toots got stronger and more frequent, lol, I decided to hurry up because this could be disasterous...before I could stand up to get her out, I suddenly realized there was a snake in the tub! ;) Sydnee had pooped in the tub and there is was...floating proudly in the tub! LOL. I couldn't help but laugh and I knew my lil peanut felt better, so no need to get mad. This was just one of the firsts that I will experience in mommyhood and I am sure it isn't the last time I will be fishing poop out of the tub! :)

3 Months
Hard to believe she is alredy 3 months! She is wanting to roll over so bad but can't quite make it, but I am guessing it won't be much longer! I have to second guess myself when plopping her down somewhere...the floor is the safe bet. I am ready for spring/summer to come! It will be a great age for Sydnee and not to mention daddy will be home. We have 2 months down already and 3-4 more to go. It seems so far away, but I know it will be here before we know it...hopefully! Until then, I am going to enjoy having her to myself. :)
